| Twisted Laurel Gallery
was established in 1989 by third generation clockmaker, Luther Stroup and his wife,
Renita. Located in historic downtown Spruce Pine, the gallery, best known for its
glass collection, showcases the work of more than 150 artists and craftsmen in the Spruce
Pine and Penland area. The gallery displays an outstanding collection of
studio glass, pottery, wood, fiber art, jewelry, clocks and paintings. Twisted Laurel
Virtual Gallery was created to make it easier for art collectors to admire and
acquire distinctive art via the World Wide Web. Twisted Laurel Virtual Gallery's
philosophy is to offer a stage for artists of unique talents and vision in the Southern
Highlands. You will note a range of media is included. The art exhibited will change over
